IThe Chapel at Mission San Xavier Del Bac glows in the Tucson sunset on this beautiful throw pillow! Perfect for any Southwestern decor!
I enjoy focusing on Southwestern imagery because that is what I'm most inspired by since I live in the desert. However, for a special commission, I was challenged to paint a macaw parrot as a pet portrait. What fun! They are a beautiful bird each with unique markings. The painting is on its way to California!
I will be exhibiting for the first time at the Tucson Artisan and Food Fair this Sunday, May 19, 2019 at the Medella Vina Ranch on Houghton. Come see me and new work!

It's so nice when a client sends a photo of my work hanging in their home. It's especially nice when they say how pleased they are with the room after the work is hung. Many of my clients tell me that the room where my work hangs is now the happiest room in the house. I couldn't be more pleased with these comments! Thank you to Janie and Dean for the photo and for collecting my work. Your home is beautiful.

My beautiful, talented, very successful business woman friend, Missy Green (Owner of Green With Envy Salon in Rochester, NY) was interviewed for Subculture Magazine and the photographer used my "Himalayan Blue" painting - which hangs in the shampoo room of the salon - as the backdrop. I was thrilled to see how the shot turned out and Missy looks gorgeous. Congratulations Missy!
Wow! My husband and I in the local paper on the same day! What are the odds of that? Bill was featured in the Business section about careers that are hiring and I was featured in a spot in the Living section about the trend towards large canvas paintings in contemporary decor!

We do it up every year and invite the trick-or-treaters we know into our home for cupcakes and cider and other treats. It's my favorite holiday!

I have been fortunate enough to participate in a wonderful charity project for Breast Cancer Education, Prevention and Treatment. "Breast Impressions" is a project founded by Judi Grove and involves the creation of breast casts that are then painted and decorated by artists. The finished pieces are auctioned off and all proceeds benefit the charity. Judi often works with Roller Derby Leagues and is currently working with Roc City Roller Derby, of which I was a skating member. My finished piece is "Ta-Ta's Ta-Tas". Roller Derby Jammer "Ta-Ta Payne" has always reminde me of a mermaid with her long blond hair and serene beauty. At the auction, my piece earned $575 for the Breast Cancer charity!
